Veganer Black-Bean-Burger

The vegan black bean burger with a black bean patty with roasted mushrooms and walnuts and a delicious creamy burger sauce that you could sink your teeth into. Bet we could? We certainly could! With just a few ingredients, you can make a healthy and nutritious burger which, by the way, is also great for your juice cleanse preparation or post-processing.

Ingredients (4 burgers):

250g cooked black beans

70g rolled oats

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp cumin

150g mushrooms

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ red onion

40g walnuts

For the burger sauce:

2 tsp vegan mayo

2 tsp ketchup

1 tsp mustard

2 gherkins

salt

pepper

Preparation:

  1. First puree 2/3 of the beans together with the oat flakes, soy sauce and spices in a blender
  2. Next, chop the washed mushrooms into small pieces and fry briefly in a hot pan before adding to the mixture
  3. Finely chop the walnuts and also add to the mixture
  4. Now add the spices and the remaining beans to the mixture, mix again briefly and shape into patties
  5. For the burger sauce, cut the gherkins into very small pieces and mix them with the mayo, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper
  6. Then fry the patties well in a hot pan or on the grill until they look golden brown
  7. Cut open the burger buns and also briefly place them in the pan
  8. Now top the burger buns and you can enjoy your burger! 
  9. Enjoy your meal!
