Vegan broccoli hotwings

Broccoli, the power vegetable lives up to its name, because it contains a lot of vital substances. It is particularly rich in vitamin C, as well as vitamins E and K and B vitamins. They are also minerals such as magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron and potassium. The vegan broccoli hot wings can not only be used in the preparation of your juice cleanse but also in your follow-up work. Have fun cooking them!

Ingredients (4 servings):

1 large broccoli

225ml oat milk

125g chickpea flour

3 tbsp hot BBQ sauce

1 tsp smoked paprika powder

75g chickpea flour

25g cornflakes natural

2 tbsp paprika powder

1 tsp salt

Preparation:

  1. For the liquid part of the breading, mix the flour, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika powder and oat milk in a bowl to form a smooth batter 
  2. For the dry part of the breading, mix the flour, cornflakes, paprika powder and salt in another bowl
  3. Now divide the broccoli into florets and pull them through the liquid breading, allow to drain briefly and then press into the dry breading and dredge once or twice thoroughly 
  4. Now carefully heat a pan with olive oil over a medium heat until the oil has reached a temperature of approx. 170°C
  5. Then deep-fry the broccoli florets until they are golden and crispy - about 4 to 5 minutes
  6. Then remove the broccoli with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper
  7. Now arrange on a plate and serve with a dip of your choice - done!
