Ingredients (4 servings):
1 large broccoli
225ml oat milk
125g chickpea flour
3 tbsp hot BBQ sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika powder
75g chickpea flour
25g cornflakes natural
2 tbsp paprika powder
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
- For the liquid part of the breading, mix the flour, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika powder and oat milk in a bowl to form a smooth batter
- For the dry part of the breading, mix the flour, cornflakes, paprika powder and salt in another bowl
- Now divide the broccoli into florets and pull them through the liquid breading, allow to drain briefly and then press into the dry breading and dredge once or twice thoroughly
- Now carefully heat a pan with olive oil over a medium heat until the oil has reached a temperature of approx. 170°C
- Then deep-fry the broccoli florets until they are golden and crispy - about 4 to 5 minutes
- Then remove the broccoli with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper
- Now arrange on a plate and serve with a dip of your choice - done!
